Program Director, Partner and Liaison International Relations CIONET

Program Director, Partner and Liaison International Relations CIONET, a network of over 4500+ CIOs and IT leaders in Europe. He represents CIONET on a number of European projects in the area of eSkills and eLeadership development. Furthermore, he is the founder and chair of iPoort a community for the members of the Dutch parlement to discuss the value and role of IT in the Dutch society and co-founder of the Wireless Innovation Council Europe. He is the chair of the advisory board of the Dutch eSociety Platform. He is member of the advisory board of the following organizations: the Global Industry Council of the IP3, an UNESCO-consultative body focusing on Computing as a Profession; IPBPM, Portugal; Standards4Enterprise, USA; BPM-Forum, the Netherlands; the factulty for Process Innovation and Information Systems, Utrecht university of applied science, the Netherlands.

As Program Director he has been responsible for a large number of (international) conferences like the World Conference for Information Technology 2010, the ‘Week of Inspiration’ for the Dutch Tax Office, World Computer Conference 2012 and the World CIO Forum, Xian, China. He is frequently asked to speak at/or moderate events. He regularly coaches both organizations and individuals on collaboration and strategy. He has an MSc from Delft University.
